Born in England, Patricia emigrated to Canada in 1966, to the rugged Saguenay region of Quebec. It was here that her love of the Canadian landscape and its wildlife was first developed. In 1969 she moved to Boston, Mass., U.S.A for graduate studies and did many paintings of the Maine Coast.
While in Boston, Patricia met Nathaniel Jacobson, a prominent Boston artist. She obtained a scholarship to work and study under him for one year. The time spent with him was invaluable and set the course of her career in art.
Patricia has completed many paintings in watercolour, acrylics and oils over the years. Her works are owned by many private collectors in Canada, U.S.A Australia and the U.K.
